Ticketed Events

Sell tickets on your Reservation.Tools floor plan

Concerts, tastings, New Year's Eve. Seated places, whole tables or standing room — free or paid — and every ticket lands in your Reservation.Tools reservation book.

What is Ticketed Events?

Event ticketing built into your venue, not bolted on the side. You draw price zones on the floor plan your host already runs in Reservation.Tools, put ticket tiers on sale in Ordering.Tools, and guests pick their exact spot — a numbered place, a whole table, or a standing area — from your website or your reservation widget.

Every purchase becomes a reservation with the buyer's name, phone and tickets attached. The door scans QR codes, the floor plan fills up in real time, and a refund puts the seat straight back on sale. No third-party ticketing site, no exported guest lists, no re-typing names at the door.

Why ticketing belongs inside your venue

Your floor plan is the seat map

No separate seating-chart tool to maintain. The table a guest books is the table they sit at — zones, rows and numbered places drawn once, sold at every event.

No double-selling

A place is held the moment a guest picks it and released automatically if they don't check out in time. Two people can't buy the same seat, even in the last minute of a sellout.

The door runs itself

Scan a ticket and it's used; scan it twice and it's rejected. When a party's tickets are all in, their reservation is seated — your host watches arrivals live instead of crossing names off a printout.

Free or paid, table or standing

Zero-price tiers confirm instantly with no checkout — perfect for RSVP nights. Paid tiers charge by card through your own payment account. Seats, whole tables and standing zones sell side by side.

From floor plan to first ticket in four steps

1

Switch it on and define price classes

Enable Ticketed Events for your venue, then create price classes — VIP, Standard, Front Row — each with its own colour. Classes are reusable: define them once, price them per event.

2

Draw zones and places on the floor plan

In the Reservation.Tools floor-plan editor, draw zone polygons over your existing layout and drop numbered places row by row — or keep your tables as they are. Assign each zone a price class; seated capacity computes itself.

3

Create the event and sync the seat map

Add the event, its sessions (one-off or recurring) and ticket tiers priced per class. Sync the floor plan and every place becomes live, sellable inventory tied to your real tables.

4

Put it on sale

Guests buy from your website's event page or straight from the reservation widget: pick seats on the live map, pay by card — or claim free tickets instantly. PDF tickets and wallet passes arrive by email.

Built for a real room, not a generic hall

Live seat picker with real inventory

Guests see the actual room: zones coloured by price class, sold places greyed out, their own picks held with a visible countdown while they check out.

  • Per-seat holds with automatic release
  • Prices always come from the server — the page can't be tampered with
  • A whole-table purchase issues one ticket per place at that table
  • Standing (general admission) zones with their own capacity

Tickets guests actually keep

Every guest gets their own QR ticket — as a PDF by email and as an Apple or Google Wallet pass. One order for a table of four still means four personal tickets.

  • One ticket per guest, even on a single table order
  • Optional per-guest names collected at checkout
  • A refunded ticket is voided in the wallet too — a dead ticket looks dead
  • Public ticket page with live status for every ticket

Wired into your reservation book

Every ticket order creates a reservation carrying the buyer and party size, so the event night looks like any other service — just busier.

  • Tickets view on the reservation list, grouped by party
  • Door check-in by scan or manual code entry, duplicates rejected
  • “Entry by ticket only” closes online booking for the event's hours and area
  • Refunds release the table back to the floor automatically

Money you can see

A per-event report and a venue-wide dashboard show sold, checked-in and revenue as it happens — per tier and per zone, with refunds already netted out.

  • Per-tier breakdown and per-zone occupancy, live
  • Promo codes and add-ons per event
  • Full-order or single-ticket refunds from the order screen
  • Transparent per-ticket commission, with custom per-venue rates

Event nights we built this for

Live music nights

Sell the front tables whole, the back as standing room. The band's guest list is just free tickets — scanned at the same door.

Wine tastings & chef's dinners

Twelve numbered places, one price class, per-guest names collected at checkout — the place cards practically write themselves.

New Year's Eve galas

The night your floor plan earns its keep: every table priced by zone and sold weeks ahead. Paid up front means no-shows don't cost you the table.

Stand-up & club nights

Standing-room zones with a hard capacity and nothing to draw — one general-admission zone, one price, done.

Ticket-only takeovers

Flip “Entry by ticket only” and the booking widget stops offering tables during the event — no accidentally double-booked Saturday night.

Free community events

Quiz nights, meetups, tastings: zero-price tiers confirm instantly, and you still get a door list, check-in and a headcount.

Why sell tickets from your own venue, not a ticketing site

Generic ticketing platforms don't know your room. You re-draw your seating chart in their editor, export guest lists before every event, and run a door that has no idea what your reservation book says. Meanwhile the guest data — the most valuable part — stays with the platform, not with you.

One guest record, not two systems

With Ordering.Tools, a ticket buyer lands in the same reservation book as every other guest. Your host sees the party, its table and its check-in state on the floor plan they already use. After the event, those buyers are customers you can reach — not rows in someone else's export.

Inventory that cannot oversell

Every place is tracked per session with hold-and-confirm inventory: picking a seat holds it, paying books it, abandoning it releases it on a timer. The same seat cannot be sold twice, and a refund puts it back on sale the moment it's processed.

Paid, free, and everything in between

Paid tickets charge by card through your own payment account — Stripe, myPOS or Borica — so ticket revenue settles where your order revenue does. Free tiers skip checkout entirely and confirm on the spot. The price you set is the price the guest pays.

Commission you can reason about

Ticket sales bill like orders do: a transparent per-ticket commission on paid tickets, visible in your billing screen next to your ordering channels, with custom per-venue rates available. Free tickets owe nothing. No listing fees, no charges added on top of the guest's price.

Put your next event on sale

Switch on Ticketed Events, draw your zones, and sell the first ticket today — a free event costs nothing to run.
